IROMIZ, a two-piece band that defies expectations with a bold and alternative sound crafted from just acoustic guitar and drums. With emotionally charged lyrics and poetic spoken word by vocalist and guitarist Erika, paired with the dynamic, expressive drumming of Koji Ota, their music continues to surprise audiences from their home base in Kokura, Kitakyushu.
This release, featuring seven tracks including a one-take bonus track, was released on December 15, 2024. (The bonus track is available exclusively on the CD.)
It features a newly recorded version of "In My Mind," originally released as a music video in 2023, now officially available for the first time. Also included is a rearranged version of "Wednesday Girl," a song Erika has carried with her since her solo days, now reborn through the voice and rhythm of IROMIZ.
IROMIZ continues to bridge past and present - evolving yet grounded - as a duo breathing new life into songs from every chapter of their musical journey.
