A single by rapper Lotten Follow.
It's 2024, four years after March 2020.
Finally, he took the stage at Kawasaki Club Citta, the place of his destiny.
"This is really just my opinion, but it feels like it was fate. It's been exactly four years since Bazooka's Takara, which was scheduled to appear, was canceled due to COVID-19 in the spring of 2020, and the place we were supposed to appear at was Club Citta, so I thought that no matter what route I took, I would have ended up here eventually (laughs)," he said.
When I met him again later, he was deeply devastated by his defeat in March.
"I've taken a long detour to get here. It's a place I actually passed four years ago. But I somehow managed to get there, and now it's this again."
It seems that he had more on his mind than just winning or losing.
"For four years, I think I was doing my best in my own way. But the reality is that four years ago was my heyday, and I haven't gotten any better since then. I was writing songs, and my rapping had improved immensely, but still. Even though I kept working so hard, people around me continued to think I'd disappeared. At some point, I came to understand that that was normal."
After a short silence, he answered.
"Even if no one remembered me, I was still here. I'm still here."
