SAUNA CLOUDY

"SAUNA CLOUDY"is a sauna-themed ambient album composed by Shigeru Yoshida for "kumori," a sauna located in Niigata, Japan.
The lead track "TOTONOI ASA" captures the serene atmosphere of morning steam and calm reflection. Designed for listening inside the sauna or during relaxation time, it blends soothing electronic textures with organic field recordings.
Each sauna track is six minutes long and designed to loop seamlessly, symbolizing the optimal duration of a sauna session.
The album consists of eight tracks - four for the sauna and four for the "TOTONOI" resting area - each titled ASA (morning), HIRU (noon), YUU (evening), and YORU (night) to reflect the time of day.
Sounds of Yasuda roof tiles, used inside the sauna, and natural ambiences recorded around Niigata are interwoven with gentle electronic tones, creating a soundscape that invites deep relaxation and a balanced state of mind and body.
