Formed in 2023, KIAZMA is a progressive metal band that makes full use of down-tuned 8-string guitars and 5-string bass.
This track is a single released from their debut album, "Blank Page", which arrives three years after the band's formation.
They blend influences from contemporary progressive metal acts like Meshuggah and Vildhjarta with elements of post-rock and *geijo* (emotive)/blackened hardcore cultivated by the members over time.
By incorporating Japanese lyrics and lyrical passages amidst irregular rhythms and heavy grooves, they have forged a unique sound that serves as a challenge to the established progressive metal scene.
