  • Suzuma Nomura

    Suzuma Nomura, born on May 7, 2002, is a Japanese violinist, pianist, songwriter, and folklore musician. He hails from Yamaguchi prefecture, Japan. Growing up, Suzuma was exposed to the enchanting world of traditional South American music through his mother's involvement in a music group. Arcoiris, founded in 1999 by Sumire, a group leader who had spent two years as a member of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer in Bolivia. Suzuma's passion for music ignited during his early years, as he started playing various musical instruments as a child. At the age of 3, he mesmerized the audience with his first stage performance, showcasing his talent on the Bombo, a traditional Argentine drum. As a primary school student, he held the role of concertmaster in his school's orchestra. On May 1, 2019, Suzuma released his first album titled "Crescent Moon," marking an important milestone in his musical journey. Seeking further growth and opportunities, he made the bold decision to move to New York City in 2021, where he has resided for the past 2 years. Now, Suzuma presents his latest album, "42nd Street," offering his captivating melodies to the world.
