In the funk-drenched season of 2025, three forces of underground groove, READER, NEMURO UNEEQ, and FRME, reunite to ignite a new era of sound.
During an impromptu street session, a simple yet powerful mantra emerged:
Lets make some FUNKY SHIT.
Under the banner of One Nation Under a Groove, the trio raised their flag high in Odori Park, sending a telepathic signal across time and space to DAHAD, the newest beatmaker to join label 76-77.
Moments later, DAHAD arrived aboard the Mothership, connecting with the three MCs through a deep, interstellar fusion of soul and rhythm.
The project expands further with a Remix from FKD (VIBEPAK / Dry Echoes etc...), transforming the release into a double A-side packed with spacey, hard-hitting, and undeniably dope beats.
Yet amid the high-frequency chaos, a lingering feeling remains: something missing, something forgotten.

READER AND SUE
READER AND SUE is an MC and DJ who started his career in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan in the early 90's. In 1999, he started producing music with SUE. In 2009, he released an album under the name of READER from ILL DANCE MUSIC. The following year, they released an analog EP under the name of READER AND SUE from the same label. In 2011-2012, they completed the album 2 THE HIPHOP 4 THE FUNK. After that, he immersed himself in raising his children while working on his own activities. Recently, the child-rearing has been settled. In the meantime, their meetings were about health and chronic illnesses. Drinking white water and waking up early, they joined together again in 2024 as the aging process accelerates. The MC, who is only good for making toasts, and the DJ, who can handle everything from mastering beats to making beats to talking about his crush at the bar counter, will be circulating a circular from this town again.
