    Sumire Asahina is a Japanese J-Pop singer and the lead vocalist of Last Commit, an indie band formed entirely by active software engineers and programmers. Drawing inspiration from the emotional struggles hidden behind lines of code and everyday screen time, she delivers heartfelt, melancholic ballads with a crystal-clear, comforting voice. Having captivated audiences as the frontwoman of her band, Asahina officially launched her solo career in 2026 with her debut digital single, "Last Sunset".
