uMa [universal messiah art] uMa began musical activities in 2005 with three members: Akiko Hayashi, Itaru Kamiyama, and Shuhei Shima. In 2015, Mugiho P. Kenmochi joined, forming the current four-member lineup. uMa creates emotionally resonant music through the fusion of Akiko Hayashi's clear and pure vocals, lyrics and melodies that express a unique worldview, Mugiho P. Kenmochi's delicate and emotionally stirring guitar work, Shuhei Shima's embracing and steady bass, and Itaru Kamiyama's spontaneous yet unifying guitar. Their diverse musicality and worldview are sure to resonate with listeners and bring a sense of joy.
