Artist Profile
Daisuke Akao
Composer, arranger, lyricist, trackmaker, guitarist, and bassist. He also takes care of his own mixing, mastering, and artwork. While working professionally as a songwriter and composer, he explores new approaches to pop music through influences ranging from soul and contemporary jazz to hip-hop, rock, K-pop, and beyond. A key part of his production style is the ability to recreate and reinterpret sounds from different eras, from the 1960s to the 2020s.
