タイトルにもなっているリード曲「星を待って」は、夜が似合う1曲。
メロウながらグルーブ感のあるバンドサウンドと、敢えて背中を押さない緩めのリリックが心地いい。
シティポップベースでありながら、様々な要素を取り入れ音楽の枠を飛び越えたオーサカンシティポップというジャンルを確立しつつあるホシミッツ。
このバンドの"かっこいい"がぎゅっと詰まったミニアルバム。
Artist Profile
hoshimittsu
Hoshimittsu was formed in 2016 by SaCo, KENtaro, and TETSU. Initially, they only performed live once a year, mainly focusing on covers, but began writing songs around 2019. Dr. SAKU joined in 2021. After a lineup change, bassist KJ joined in 2025. Incorporating chill elements into their groovy band sound, they describe themselves as an Osaka urban pop band, and despite their long history, they remain fresh and energetic. In 2020, they released their first CD, "Over the New Wave." On November 17, 2021, they released their first mini-album, "Waiting for the Stars," and on November 1, 2025, they released "PAPAPA." Once a year, at the end of the year, they host their own event, "SPICY PARADE."
