A Jazz standard written in 1996. Strictly it's not a "standard", because it hasn't been widely known yet, but I use the term anyway, hoping that it will be recognized as such one day. The melody line is so natural and smooth that, once heard, it's hard to forget. You may feel "Hey, I think I've heard this before", and a probable reason is that it follows chord progressions that are so common in Jazz. If this song were performed by great musicians all over the world, my dream would come true.     "Once heard, never forgotten" -- with that motto, I have been writing songs for events. "I Won't Let You Go" is the first song I published, thanks to TuneCore Japan. It was inspired by the movie "Titanic" and the song was fairly completed in my head before leaving the theater. I plan to publish one song per month, written in English, Japanese, Spanish, and French, in such styles as J-pop, pops, rock, jazz, Latin, folk, classical, techno, country, and children's song.
