Shadows We Bought

Eighty's Mind Judgement

Neon lights on empty streets

Shops are ghosts with broken names

Doors once open voices loud

Now just silence bought and sold

Neighbors living wall to wall

But no one knows each other’s face

Safe inside our private shells

Comfort kills the human trace

We traded time for speed

Hands for screens

Trust for locks and keys

We thought we bought peace

But who’s alive

Safe and sound yet hollow inside

Connected wires disconnected souls

Tell me now what did we gain

We thought we bought peace

Truth denied

Everything works but nothing’s right

We gained the world in our control

Lost the part that made us whole

Friendly words with sharpened teeth

Anonymous and consequence free

Digital stones thrown at night

No faces no names no sight

Close enough to touch the skin

But hearts are guarded sealed in steel

Smile emojis hide the fear

Say you’re fine don’t say what’s real

We optimized the pain

Filtered shame

Left the mess unnamed

We thought we bought peace

Who’s to blame

Point your finger clear your name

Crowded rooms isolated minds

Tell me now where did we gain

We thought we bought peace

Lives on mute

Every answer pre-approved

We follow rules we never chose

Is this living I don’t know

What do you stand for

When nothing’s sacred

What do you feel

When feeling’s wasted

If everything’s ready-made

Every road already paved

Tell me

Who are you

When you’re not saved

We thought we bought peace

Still we crawl

Behind the comfort of these walls

Progress high but spirits low

We gained it all and lost our core

We thought we bought peace

Here we stand

With empty hearts and busy hands

Tell me straight don’t beautify

What did your life really gain tonight

Mission of Humanity is the sixth heavy metal album by Eighty's Mind Judgement. Through steel-driven riffs and relentless structures, the album confronts systems, borders, justice, and surplus---- asking what it truly means to choose, to act, and to remain human.

Artist Profile

  • Eighty's Mind Judgement

Eighty's Mind Judgement (EMJ) is a Japanese heavy metal artist driven by the mission: Energizing workers around the world through heavy metal. A solo project led by a full-time corporate professional, EMJ creates heavy metal works centered on themes of work, society, and human spirituality. The project began in 2025. Musically, EMJ is rooted in the classic style of 1980s traditional heavy metal, with a strong emphasis on album-oriented production. Beyond the quality of individual tracks, each release is crafted as a cohesive concept album, with carefully designed themes and narrative structure across the entire tracklist. Influenced by reading, contemplation, and real-world corporate experience, the lyrics carry strong messages focused on social and organizational challenges, human resilience, and self-empowerment. The flagship series Corporate Warrior places the everyday worker at the center, portraying the struggles and challenges of working life through heavy metal. Notable works include Corporate Warrior, Mizuho no Tamashii, and Born of Many Lives. Full-length albums include the debut First Meltdown, followed by Edge of the Knife, Heavy Duty, Awakening of Recognition, Mighty Souls, Mission of Humanity, and We Become What We See. All tracks are available on major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and iTunes.
