EIKI - 2nd Album "Honenari"

- Resonating to the marrow of the bones -

Honenari is an album created with a single purpose: to live in a way that only oneself can live.
It documents the process in which consciousness and the body, beginning as a ritual, are transformed, broken down, and accelerated by extreme speed and relentless repetition, leaping across the boundary between reality and dream before returning once again to the ground. Rooted in Sanno, Nishinari-ku, Osaka, and shaped by the underground spaces where EIKI has lived and performed, such as Sengoku Daitouryou, Awaza House, and Wana Bar, the album directly absorbs the reality of Osaka's underground scene as sound, reflecting it as a rite of passage.

An accident during the filming of a music video, in which EIKI fractured his right leg, became a turning point. The subconscious, once directed inward, intersected and was released indiscriminately into the outside world. Capturing the moment when mind, technique, and body are no longer separated but transformed directly into sound, Honenari is also the first album fully mastered by EIKI himself.

Spanning from 110 BPM to 634 BPM, the concept of tempo is dismantled. Mental states, physicality, repetition, recoil, impulse, and emotion are carved directly into the audio. A sequence of fleeting moments becomes melody, and through this accumulation, the work takes its final form. Beginning from a hardcore way of life and EIKI's own mentality, the album freely traverses psycore, trance, gabber, and experimental music, becoming an intensely physical and psychological work that reaches even the listener's sixth sense.
