S.Dragon-Er - "Torawareteru"
"Torawareteru" is a powerful track that explores the feeling of being trapped by one's own expectations and the weight of others' demands, while still choosing to move forward with strength.
The song reflects the struggles of daily life-being bound by the idea of "how things should be," and suffocating under external pressures. Even while swallowing things you don't want to do, the focus remains firmly on the future.
Throughout the lyrics, anger and frustration coexist with determination: "I won't make excuses. I won't blame anyone." To be "torawareteru" (captured, trapped) is not weakness-it is a trial that forges resilience. That's why the line "Torawareteru, demo warukunai" ("I am trapped, but it's not a bad thing") resonates so strongly.
With trilingual lyrics mixing Japanese, English, and Chinese, the track is distinctly S.Dragon-Er. Complex emotions are woven into layered flows, urging listeners to face themselves and realize that the power to change the ending lies within their own hands.
"Torawareteru" is more than a song of struggle-it is an anthem of perseverance, showing that beyond suffering lies possibility, and beyond captivity lies strength.
From Tokyo The project began on January 25, 2020. Ryuji Suzuki, who had been the drummer in a rock band, launched this solo project in order to expand his own style of entertainment while making waves in the streaming scene. Currently, the group has grown into a three member act with the addition of DJ Jinsei Zetsubou and performer Seo skp. With trilingual rap that mixes Japanese, Chinese, and English lyrics, featuring Chinese he learned on his own, they aim to become artists who can perform not only in Japan but across Asia as well. In live performances, Suzuki preserves his identity as a drummer by using a customized electronic drum set, while also incorporating breakdance performance. Their self produced live streamed one man show RUN UP, broadcast from their own studio, is a content series that continues to push forward the entertainment they truly want to express. Their first milestone is to deliver their music to listeners across Japan and other Asian countries, expanding the scope of their activities. Music is the energy that creates the future. This is Ikuiku Mile.
