    CYBER RUI is a Tokyo-based artist and rapper. Introduced to electronic music at an early age through her father, she developed a unique musical sensibility shaped by a wide range of influences, including Vocaloid, band music, hip-hop, and classical music. She first gained attention through her appearance on RAPSTAR in 2021. In recent years, she has deepened her exploration of electronic and dance music, developing a distinctive artistic language that blends hip-hop with alternative culture, club culture, and internet culture. Her 2026 conceptual album "PROJECT REBOOT" serves as the record of an observer gradually realizing that CYBER RUI was, in itself, a project created to survive and navigate this world. Amid a society saturated with constant streams of information and emotion, her work explores ways of reconnecting with both the self and the world through music.
