Following the previous work, it was the third work in the "Gazu Hyakkiyakō" series by Toriyama Sekien. The first work "Part 1[Yin]" was a relatively major yōkai, the second work "Part 1[Yang]" had almost half of major and minor yōkai, and this work named "Part 1[Wind]" was be published in 1776 as well as the previous two works, but it is occupied by almost minor yōkai. There are 15 bodies in total, but it is not just minor, but it is completely unknown what you want to use as the theme of expression, and there is no explanation. there are still many yōkai researchers who are bothering you (the yōkai paintings included in "the first part [yin] the first part [yang]" often have a hidden meaning in the background and composition). Although it is my personal guess, I wonder if Toriyama Sekien originally planned to end the "the first part" with two works of "Gazu Hyakkiyakō" series "Yin" and "Yang" and create a new "second part"? However, during the period of the popularity of the "Gazu Hyakkiyakō" series, the number of yōkai that he wanted to use as a motif for making 2 new works was not enough, so I think that it was a trilogy as "Part 1 [wind]" in a hurry.
In addition, as described in the explanation column of "Part 1 [Yin]", the "Part 2" of the "Gazu Hyakkiyakō" series has been unpublished.
