In the summer when I was 11 years old, my siblings and I were sent to my grandparents' house in the countryside of Tokyo for about a week. My grandparents' house had an air conditioner, but they never turned it on. I went for a walk in the morning, waited patiently for the hot day to pass, and when it came time for dinner, I was relieved that the day was finally over. As soon as my parents came to pick me up, my family moved to a place not far from Shinjuku. No matter where you look up, the sky is cut out, the narrow streets are cut out, and the room is much smaller than before. I remember feeling more anxious than excited about my new life.As the new school year approached, I had to take my younger brother to the new school on the first day of school, so I went on an adventure with my younger brother to get to the school as a rehearsal. On the way home that day after seeing the new school, the sky suddenly looked like an ink painting and we were met with heavy rain, so we had a lot of fun on our way home. That rain was very warm. I was anxious, but the sky became violently rough, as if everyone was letting out their feelings that they had been holding back. I remember that shower every summer.
