Unsent

Staying unsent is the only way to stay close.

"Unsent" is a story about words left behind
and a relationship that was never meant to exist.

Close enough to touch,
but never close enough to take.

The more gentle it feels,
the harder it is to escape.

"I miss you" gets typed... then deleted.
Replaced with something meaningless, just to keep things normal.

And somehow, that's how we survive this.

I am the moon.
You are the sun.
We were never meant to exist in the same night.

Still, we don't walk away.
Not because we can't-
but because we're too afraid to end it for real.
