It felt like something’s melting even now, I can’t tell if it was a dream or real
Like Cinderella it’s midnight, dancing with your hand in mine
I wanted this time to keep going,so I was afraid of knowing you too well, afraid to know how you feel
You always lean in and say
"Can I kiss you?"
I tease you, "No"
You fill up my mind
You ask if I'm lonely, I say "No"
From this room
Neon lights outside the taxi blurred eyes
The warmth of your hand still lingers
Is there a cupid between us?
Bringing something words could never carry
When my feelings for you turned into actions without me noticing, and I wished for your happiness…that’s love, isn’t it?
You used to lean in and say
"Can I kiss you?"
I tease you, "No”
But you’re nowhere insight
Ask myself if I’m alright
"No”…
From this room
Even as time pulls us apart
I pray our threads will intertwine again
Somewhere ,someday
