Yoake" is the second.EP from Kanazawa, Ishikawa-based Yamiboi To$.
The tape is composed of five songs under the theme of "making the cold night go away," and everything from recording to mastering was handled by his partner and resident back-up DJ, 108.
In this work, To$ deeply confronts the huge gap between the real life he is currently living and the dreams he has had, and through the five pieces, he has compiled his own answers to get out of the bitter reality he is floundering in. As in the lyrics of the first song "Makuake," "If you would rather freeze than cool down, freeze style," To$ has created a lineup of works that convey his firm determination from the very beginning.
The EP is also a collection of songs with a serious and dark atmosphere, but each song always ends with "hope," a characteristic of To$.
Since the theme of this EP is "a cold night," it is a solo EP without a single guest performer.
