本作「Summer Breeze」は、70年代〜80年代のニューミュージックを彷彿とさせる大人の夏うた。
リリース日がバースデーとなるMAY_U自身が作詞を手がけた意欲作だ。
悔しい思いをした時、弱気になって一歩を踏み出せなくなってしまった時、諦めそうになってしまった時、夏に吹く爽やかな風のように気持ちを晴れやかにしてくれる歌詞とサウンド。
本作についてMAY_Uは「目標や夢に挑戦する全ての人にそっと寄り添うような応援歌です。自転車のハンドルをぐっと握って前に続く道を進むための心のお守りになれたら嬉しいです。」とコメントしている。

Artist Profile

    Born on July 21, 1994, in Nagano, Japan. MAY_U has been recognized for her vocal talent since her student days, becoming a semifinalist in YAMAHA's Music Revolution and a finalist in Lady's X, a project led by YOSHIKI of X JAPAN, among other music competitions. While performing as a club singer, she was diagnosed with psychogenic voice loss and temporarily lost her voice. Her encounter with vocal training became a turning point, inspiring her to become a vocal coach and help others struggling with vocal difficulties or insecurities about their voices. She later discovered live streaming and has continued to build a loyal following as a singer and live streamer whose music evokes the nostalgic sounds of the 1970s and 1980s. On November 19, 2025, MAY_U released her first single, "Mine," through her live streaming activities, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her career as a recording artist.
