Yuka Takahashi, a jazz vocalist who has been active mainly in the Kansai region, created this CD with a focus on the importance of communicating in her own words and Japanese.
There are only two jazz standard songs on this album, but the entire album is colorful and sounds like a reproduction of a live stage performance.
Along with the vocals, music director/guitarist Akio Ino's arranging skills, and support musicians who have worked in many genres including jazz, create each song as if she were painting a picture with her groove-filled sound and lyrical solos. He is creating a musical drama.
The lyrics and song incorporate Yuka Takahashi's sentiment of 'putting a prayer into every situation.'
Influenced by her mother, who was a professional singer, she studied under Mitsuru Furuya and trained as a jazz singer.
