Kumi Tanioka is known for composing for numerous video games such as Final Fantasy Chronicles series. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of her composing career, a concept album "The Sky of That Day and Your Song" is released featuring a collection of original stories and songs written by herself.

The world of music is not limited to a single country or culture. The soundscape beautifully woven together by various instruments - ancient instruments, folk instruments, modern instruments, and experimental Instruments. We bring you music stories filled with warmth and tenderness.

The album cover illustration was created by Toshiyuki Itahana, a character designer at SQUARE ENIX. This album also includes a main theme sung by a singer-songwriter Haruka Shimotsuki, who has been working on theme songs for anime and video games.

    Composer, arranger and pianist. Currently working as a freelance after her career at SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD. involving in music production for a number of games. In addition to game music, her works appear in various fields such as educational apps for kids, video works, theater music etc. In recent years, she focuses more on piano performance, expanding exposure in piano arrangement works. Know as a fervent foodie.
