Life is often likened to the flow of a river, and an individual's journey to a single drop in that great current.
In childhood, we walk, hand in hand with and protected by our mother and father. Our path ahead is bright and limitless; our future shines with a dazzling, golden light.
In time, the child grows, letting go of their parents' hands to walk their own path alone. Yet, parental love does not vanish simply because their hands have separated. That love remains constant, always thinking of the child and wishing to help them at any moment.
As years pass, the child becomes an adult, navigating their life within the vast currents of society. The mother and father retire and grow old. When we were children, we walked holding their hands, and when we were troubled and cried, they were there to save us.
Now, the roles are reversed. It is the child's turn to support the parents who are growing weary, finding the journey of their life increasingly difficult.
This work is a heartfelt tribute to the cycle of human life and the unwavering, deeply moving love between a parent and child.
[Forever In the Flow]
The following lyrics
**(1st)**
Walking hand in hand along the riverbank, just the two of us
Sparkling brightly,
The surface of the water is swaying.
The sound of the babbling river marks the flow of time.
The path I walk with you
Is always bright.
Your little hand, singing a tune,
Is fragile and lovely,
I held it tight.
Even if we walk apart,
It's the same as back then.
No matter the time, unchanged,
I'm always watching over you.
Walking alone can sometimes be lonely,
There are tough times, but
I'm right here beside you.
**(2nd)**
Walking hand in hand along the riverbank, just the two of us,
The river is wide and vast,
A big river flows.
The raging main stream marks the flow of time.
Let's walk together on this path of mine.
Taking my hand that was crying, Mom's hand
Is warm and soft,
I held it tight.
Though appearances change,
It's the same as back then.
No matter the time, unchanged,
I will always love you dearly.
When walking alone feels tough,
I'll always hold your hand.
I'm right here beside you.
Forever...
I create songs for children and parenting generations. I have been raising five children for nine years. After listening to countless songs that air on NHK for children, I began composing, hoping to make many children and their parents happy
