"Resurrection" is Tomoya's first released single song. Tomoya wrote the lyrics, composed the music, and designed the jacket.

This work is a remake of "Resurrection" written and composed by Tomoya, which had been distributed under the name IA since April 2022, and has a thicker sound with more instruments and more tracks.

Production of its predecessor, "Resurrection," began around 2021, in the midst of the Corona disaster. The impetus for the production came from the fact that he was spending more time alone at home and had the opportunity to reexamine his own way of life, and wanted to put his thoughts and ideas into lyrics. The lyrics express the intention of "I want to live my life as I am, without worrying about what people around me think.

The theme of the tune was "cold x music that makes your body move naturally. These were expressed through keyboard tones and four-strike rhythms. In addition to this theme, the composition and tone of the music is simple and catchy, yet never boring.

Its predecessor "Resurrection" has been distributed about 400,000 times in about a year, and in the tunecore charting, it was ranked 5th in the highest position in Apple Music "Anime Top Songs" in Finland, and 21st in the same category in Greece. It was also selected for Spotify's official "This Is IA" playlist. It was also ranked in Spotify's Top 10 most popular IA songs, albeit temporarily.

The jacket design was inspired by the lyrics of the latter half of the song, "I realized I am filled with encounters I don't need, I am alone, I look ahead, my vision is open, I don't know what's around me, let's live in my colorful world from now on.
