"Mermaid and the Moon" is a three-track guitar instrumental EP rooted in the spirit of a rock ballad.

Nanamie's shapes the broad musical landscape, while another guitarist lets her guitar move freely within it, guided by feeling and flow.

Long tones rise beautifully and sharply into the upper register, sustained to the edge of feedback before giving way, like a breath, to the next phrase.

Rather than making each note stand apart, the guitar moves naturally from one phrase to another, like a shooting star tracing a line across the night sky.

These three tracks are not intended to compete with one another through sharply contrasting personalities. They are more like three chapters drawn from a single moonlit scene.
