  • ZawandJun

    A singer-songwriter duo from the Kansai region, formed by Jun Maeda and Marie Izawa. They began posting cover videos on YouTube in 2021, and in 2024 started performing at live venues in Tokyo under the name "Zawandjun." Both members write songs and lyrics, taking turns as the guitar-vocal lead. They continue to explore a sound unique to a two-person unit - harmonies and a sense of sonic space that can't be achieved solo, and a lightness and expressive nuance that a full band can't replicate.
