    mutsuonakamura is a Tokyo based music and visual unit led by Nakamura. The duo consists of Nakamura who handles the music and Sadakata who creates the visuals. Their sound is rooted in an alternative and intense sonic landscape blending rock hip hop and a wide range of bass music into infectious pop melodies. Their lyrics range from political and sharply observant reflections of everyday life to striking love songs. Beyond the project Nakamura also produces for other artists. His track for edhiii boi song Otomodachi has surpassed 600 million views on TikTok. Meanwhile Sadakata has worked as a VJ for stadium sized acts bringing large scale visual experiences to life. Together they deliver a boundary breaking fusion of sound and vision straight from Tokyo.
