Run Out

Bbugs

I trace with lipstick

I’ll try it the way you did

The dresser and the French vase

What a mess of a face

Under the lighthouse

Moths and a dead mouse

That light reaches my house

I’m stuck in doubts

I don’t wanna go back

Running out of gas

Talking to myself

I’m out

And I’ll never look back

Running out of time

Talking to myself

I’m out

Dad's car is the best place to play the Bunnymen tapes

Rowing a boat through the Ocean Rain

Under the lighthouse

Moths and a dead mouse

That light reaches my house

I’m stuck in doubts

I don’t wanna go back

Running out of gas

Talking to myself

I’m out

And I’ll never look back

Running out of cash

Talking to myself

I’m out

Talking to myself

I’m out

I don’t wanna go back

Running out of gas

Talking to myself

I’m out

And I’ll never look back

Running out of time

Talking to myself

I’m out

    Run Out

    Bbugs

Bbugs is an alternative band from Tokyo. Their core idea is based on dilettantism, and their aesthetic comes from DIY practice mixed with a surrealist sense. They show deep respect for guitar music from the eighties and nineties while reshaping its romance, instability, critical spirit, plus the element of chance through a modern view and a handmade texture.

Their range is wider than music. They move through art, philosophy, literature, subculture, and aim for a form of surrealism that fits the present age. The group took shape in 2024 with Rio as the central figure, joined by Yuji Soga, Takahiro Hirano, and Juon Tahara.

Run Out carries a hint of folk and aims to blur the line between reality and escape. It captures the sense of slipping away from a familiar world whose outline begins to fray. The track presents a road movie like scene inside a sound field with a faint scent of death.

Recording, mixing, and mastering were handled by Kensei Ogata.
The artwork was created by Kaho Nagao, who has shaped the band since their early phase through art direction and design, adding clear support to the world inside this piece.
