誰もが旅立つ時がある。自分の感覚を信じて飛び出した海には、きっと見たことのない景色が広がっている。

Shoko Yamada is a Tokyo-based singer-songwriter originally from Sendai, Japan. In 2010, she won the Miyagi Prefecture championship of the NHK Nodojiman singing competition, one of Japan's most well-known amateur music contests. Since 2014, she has been performing "Yakusoku," the official song of the Sendai Tanabata Festival, one of Japan's largest traditional summer festivals. Known for her powerful vocals, soaring long notes, and emotionally rich storytelling, Yamada's performances are often described as cinematic, unfolding like a film through song. In 2023, she held her first solo hall concert at Za-Koenji in Tokyo, drawing over 300 attendees. Through live performances, over 100 cover songs on her official YouTube channel, and streaming on the singing platform ColorSing, she continues to connect with listeners while steadily expanding her audience. Her long-term dream is to perform on NHK's prestigious New Year's music program, Kohaku Uta Gassen.
