  Formed in December 2017, this underground pop unit consists of vocalist Tomo and sound creator Hideki. As creators by trade, they not only create music but also websites, apps, and music videos. Farewell to our precious cat member At live music venues in Tokyo, we got to know many people involved and artists we'd played with. However, Neurona began performing live in person in 2021, amid the pandemic and a changing world where traditional musical activities no longer worked. In November 2022, our manager, Kokuto, passed away due to illness. As we fought his illness, the band members stayed close to him, interacting with him, and sharing words until his final moments. At that moment, both band members, exhausted from working too hard at the venue, heard Kokuto's voice. "Don't try too hard." We felt as if we'd been taught a lesson. The following July, 2023, our leader, Chikuwa, passed away. Forced to say goodbye to so many precious members one after another, we began to seriously consider the value of spending time and enjoying time with our precious cat, rather than focusing on our activities in Tokyo to meet our ticket quotas. While many artists were undergoing major changes, such as trying new ways to interact with their fans and some even disbanding, Neurona decided to live in her hometown of Chigasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, surrounded by her favorite cats, people, and music.
