In 2025, REI launched a new project under his real name from Toronto, Canada.
He released an EP titled "TOKYOTOTORONTO" which includes "2OFUS" a track sampling the famous song "Just the two of us".
The latest track, "Skrr With Me" was also written and composed by REI himself, and recorded in collaboration with renowned Vancouver-based producer Eli2x.

    REI began his career in 2015 as a member of the Shibuya-based hip-hop crew kiLLa under the name KEPHA. kiLLa's cutting-edge Tokyo style garnered much attention, including a nationwide tour, but the group was often forced to take a break. In 2025, the 10th anniversary of her debut, she launched a new R&B project under her real name, REI. The project's unique sound style is a fusion of the vibes of two cities, Tokyo and Toronto, its new base of activity.
