Would anybody waste the day, oh
With anything wise to say? Well I
Well don’t you know, don’t you know
That we can’t go on like this
Gotta send my message to you
Gonna say my love is true
Well don’t you know, don’t you know
That we can’t wait for it
‘Cause it’s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Yeah yeah yeah
Why is it so unkind
To greet you all the time
Yeah yeah
Would anybody waste the day, oh
With anything wise to say? Well I
Well don’t you know, don’t you know
That we can’t go on like this
And it's wise to say that I
When it comes to finding time
Well don’t you know, don’t you know
That we can’t waste it all
‘Cause it’s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Yeah yeah yeah
Why is it so unkind
To greet you all the time
Yeah yeah

Aichaku is a 2024 Japanese feature film made by Tokyo based independent production company Tokyo Cowboys.
Featuring a collection of original songs stylized after 1950s music and an eclectic collection of musicians from around the world, Aichaku's soundtrack invokes a sense of nostalgia while still being distinct and original.
Ananda Jacobs wrote and produced 6 original tracks used in the film, two featuring guest performances by her father Peter Lawrence Jacobs.
With a personal sensibility embedded in the lyrics, the music was composed and produced to evoke an American 1950s atmosphere, from upbeat vintage rock and roll to mellow pieces offering pared down arrangements that usher the listener to a comforting zone where soulful innocence and wistfulness meet.
