hairpin curve will digitally release their 1st EP aobikari on November 1, 2025. This five-track self-produced EP brings together songs the band has been performing live over the roughly one year since their formation. The previously released lead single has been newly remastered, and the EP also includes fan favorites that are being officially recorded and released for the first time. All lyrics and music were written by guitarist and vocalist Gin Ikeda.

In terms of sound, the EP captures the raw energy and rough edges characteristic of a three-piece band, while also featuring layered guitars, vocal harmonies, and meticulous arrangements. The lyrics are literary and abstract, and when delivered through Ikeda's gentle, unbarbed vocals, they leave listeners with limitless room for imagination. The nostalgic world evoked through this combination of sound and lyrics is at the heart of hairpin curve's appeal.

Additionally, on the day of the digital release, the music video for mitsu (Track 1) will premiere on YouTube.
