Compilation album with all tracks at 88BPM to be released on 8/8! A groundbreaking concept based on BPM rather than genre! Hoodish Recordings, which opened in Takadanobaba on 8/8 last year, also houses the SOUND SYSTEM BAR "88block" studio. A regular party called "88bpm" started shortly after the opening, where the BPM is kept at 88 throughout the night, playing on the name of the bar. As part of the first anniversary celebration of "88block" and "88bpm", a compilation album "88bpm" consisting of all tracks at BPM 88 will be released on 8/8. The album includes seven tracks featuring artists from Hoodish Recordings. Despite all tracks being at the same BPM, a variety of grooves are explored, promising surprises and creativity that will keep you engaged just like the party itself. The album, which will be part of a series of releases, features artwork by Sena Imakubo (Diceman) from the Tokyo/Oita-based bass music crew "Dub-Honjin".
