Subaru Production Notes
The title and lyrics give it away, but the final image is the Re:Zero OP.
Somehow it feels incredibly cohesive.
Musically, I didn't have the above concept initially. I prioritized keeping it short, simple, and efficient, while still ensuring it felt solidly cool.
For about a year, I thought of it as just a simple, kinda cool song I made in my spare time without a vocal melody or lyrics.
But when I reworked the concept and tried singing it, it transformed completely-it blew me away.
That kind of thing happens sometimes, but it's especially pronounced with simple tracks like this.
As for reference songs or sounds, well, our very own Suzuki Konomi is a given,
but Kishida Kyodan & the Myojo Rockets are absolutely central to this style for me personally.
The lyrics follow the concept mentioned earlier, so I tried to write the image of a certain "invisible hand" successor as objectively as possible. The chorus is especially direct.
This isn't really a behind-the-scenes story, but when we jam it in the studio, it consistently feels like the most fun song-tentatively ranked number one.
