Ting-a-Ling
Ting-a-Ling Sound Selector: SATOSHI Based in Odawara, Kanagawa, Japan, SATOSHI is a reggae sound selector and music producer. With a mission to connect people through music, he brings together reggae roots and a genre-crossing selection to create a sense of unity on the dancefloor. His sets can be heard across a wide range of venues and events, from clubs and outdoor festivals to lounges. He currently also serves as the backing DJ for Japanese singer-songwriter TEE. SATOSHI began his career as the reggae sound Ting-a-Ling in 2010. In 2014, he formed Ting-a-Ling wiz SANSI SOUND with SANSI (MC), a longtime friend and fellow Odawara native. Through a broad musical selection and exclusive dubplates over original riddims, they have developed their own distinctive sound and style. In 2017, SATOSHI founded Relate Style RECORDS. Since then, alongside his work as a sound selector, he has expanded his activities as a producer, producing songs and riddims and creating music for a wide range of artists.
