• MONAKA

  A mixture rock band featuring three vocalists, both male and female. They are known for their genre-blending sound, moving seamlessly between intensity and delicacy, and expressing a wide range of emotions unique to mixed-gender vocals to create a distinctive world. Going beyond music alone, they build the world of MONAKA as a complete "work," fully self-produced, including its visual expression. MONAKA is a four-piece band featuring three vocalists, formed around singer-songwriter Koucha Kazuki. The band's signature sound is driven by the distinct chemistry of its three vocalists: ANZ, whose powerful and emotionally charged voice brings intensity to every performance; gigi, who combines expressive femininity with exceptional rap skills; and Koucha Kazuki, whose clear, ethereal vocals bridge the two. Together, they create a genre-defying blend of rock and multiple musical influences that has become MONAKA's unmistakable identity. What makes MONAKA truly unique is that the majority of its creative work is led by Koucha Kazuki. From songwriting, composing, recording, and mixing to graphic design, artwork, and even the planning, filming, and editing of the band's music videos, nearly every aspect of the band's artistic vision is crafted personally. This creative ability and strong artistic vision are the driving force behind MONAKA. Kazuki's creativity has also attracted attention from within the music industry. A renowned video director known for producing live visuals for ONE OK ROCK has expressed a strong interest in collaborating with this emerging talent, and a joint music video project is currently in development. JIN, the acclaimed producer behind GReeeeN, has also shown great interest in MONAKA's music. After listening to Kazuki's demo recordings and taking part in a songwriting session together, he reportedly commented, "I have nothing to say. I need to work even harder myself," reflecting the exceptional level of talent he recognized. Although MONAKA was formed in April 2025 and is still at an early stage of its career, with limited public recognition, the band's extraordinary creativity and originality suggest that wider discovery is only a matter of time. Beyond the music itself lies an artistic vision that extends into every creative detail.
