ある晴れた日の丘の上で 僕は芽生え

ある家族の愛情を得て仲間たちと育ちました

ふと気づくと仲間たちには蕾があってやがて花を咲かせたけど

僕には蕾が無い

少しずつ僕は忘れられて 気付いて欲しくて葉を揺らすけど

人はやっぱり綺麗なものが好きなんだ

でも幼い君だけは毎日僕に水をくれて話しかけた

そのお蔭で僕はここにいる

その数年後...綺麗な仲間たちは潔く枯れて行ったけど

十年後も僕はこの場所で少しずつ伸び続けて行った

君といたかったから

やがて君も大人になって留守がちになったけど

たまに晴れた日は僕に寄りかかり過ごした

僕はできるだけ葉を伸ばして 日陰を作り小鳥たちを呼んで

君の笑顔を眺めてた

出会いと別れを繰り返して 時に傷つき雨の日に

僕にしがみつき泣いた事もあったね

僕は抱きしめる事もできず その時も葉を伸ばして

雨を遮る事しかできなくて

その数年後...君は大切な人と巡り合い家を出たけど

数十年後も僕はこの場所で少しずつ伸び続けて行った

君が新しい家族を連れて帰ってきた

少し痩せて小さくなった君は出かける事も少なくなって

Artist Profile

  • ARK

    ARK: Born in Nishitokyo, Tokyo. As a child, he played the piano with his older brother, who was taking lessons. He was extremely obese and unable to exercise, so he tended to stay at home, but when he joined the badminton club, which had achieved national-class results, in junior high school, he discovered his potential. After forming a cover band in high school, he started composing music as a hobby. After turning 30, he saw news about global warming and the North Korea issue and felt that "you never know what will happen tomorrow," so he began his activities with the desire to release his own songs to the world. He is particular about writing deep lyrics that ignite the strength in the hearts of those who hear them. ARK means ark. His nickname in school was "AK," so he named it after himself, hoping to have a fun and adventure-filled life with the crew who would board his ship.
