Saya(ex Okinawa Electric Girl Saya) Born in August 2000 in Okinawa Prefecture. Currently active mainly in Tokyo. Based on Okinawan music, she creates a wide range of music including pop, dance music, folk music, ambient, noise, and techno. As of 2026, she has released 5 albums and 4 collaboration albums. She has been actively involved in various projects since her teens, including a 5-hour special broadcast of Okinawa Electronic Girl Saya on the music streaming program "DOMMUNE," her band "Aya Kaidan" with the world-renowned Japanese noise band Hijokaidan, the creation of the official theme song for the subculture mecca "Nakano Broadway" (released in February 2021), and tours across 17 cities nationwide. She is highly regarded internationally, with releases from Indonesian and European labels. In March 2020, she had planned an Asian tour (South Korea, China, Taipei) and a European tour, but these were canceled due to the spread of the coronavirus. (Only the South Korea, Taipei, and European tours were postponed.) In August 2020, she began hosting her own radio program, "From the Depths of Tokyo's Night," on FM Naha. In October 2020, the album "Kuro no Tenshi" (Black Angel) charted at number 1 on the Russian iTunes J-Pop ranking. In March 2021, "Sogenji ~Gusuku Nu Nkashi~" (Sogenji Temple ~Gusuku Nu Nkashi~) charted at number 1 on the UK iTunes J-Pop ranking. In June 2021, a solo live performance sponsored by the Swedish Arts Council was streamed. "Himitsu no Vanilla" (Secret Vanilla) charted at number 1 on the Canadian iTunes Instrumental ranking in September 2021, and in November 2021, at number 1 on the Swedish iTunes Instrumental ranking. In August 2021, she joined AUTO-MOD DTD, the new band of the legendary band AUTO-MOD, which also included Tomoyasu Hotei.
