To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Okinawa's long-established home improvement store, Makeman,
a special collaboration between Makeman and HoRookies has been released: the song "The Person Who Makes Happiness"! Makeman customers were asked to submit lyrics, and the members created the song based on the collected lyrics! The song was created with the image of Makeman's 50th anniversary so far and the future beyond, and it connects not only to the past but also to the future. The music video has also been released on Makeman's official YouTube channel. It's a wonderful, warm song! Please enjoy both the song and the video!

Artist Profile

  • HoRookies

    The group was formed by four people who met at junior high school in their hometown of Urasoe. Their first album, "HoRookies," released in 2019, won the Okinawa Block Award at the 12th CD Shop Awards. Their song "Yui no Uta," released in 2022, was performed live on a national TBS morning broadcast and drew attention. In addition to the fact that all members are vocalists, they also all write songs, so their songs have been used on many TV shows, commercials, movies, theme songs, and more. In October 2024, the group became a three-member group and continues to work energetically.
