This EP was created as a necessary step forward - a four-track release born from the decision to let go of the past and move ahead.
From Hokkaido to Tokyo, moving back and forth between past and present, Kenshiro Sekiya reflects on returning to his roots.
"N Side Nostalgia" expresses gratitude for being able to live in the present moment.
"Portrait of a Lady on Fire" captures memories where dependence, addiction, love, and obsession intersect.
"Oh My Girl" reveals a one-of-a-kind, pure emotion.
And "Sazanami Trip" a six-minute, lantern-like journey, unfolds like a flashback in motion.
Throughout the EP, it conveys how, while living, we return to our origins again and again - each time adding new depth to our lives.
Blending nostalgia with modern beats, the sound is introspective yet impulsive.
A body of work that embraces the past while stepping into what comes next.
Born in Abashiri, Hokkaido, Kenshiro Sekiya is an artist who sings naturally and unaffectedly, screaming and whispering delicately out of instinct, with a musical style that is not bound by genres. He also makes his own beats, and his sound creates a worldview that is at times eerie and gloomy, and at other times joyful and upbeat.
