• Yuka Nagase

  Yuka Nagase is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans both digital and physical realms. In 2024, she was selected as one of Japan's representatives for Future of Music, a global initiative by Rolling Stone editions around the world, including the US and UK, spotlighting emerging artists. Alongside her own releases, Nagase has actively collaborated with creative labels, bands, and artists including SASAKRECT, Bearwear, mekakushe, and DE DE MOUSE, earning recognition for her work that transcends conventional genre boundaries. In 2025, she released Mofu Mohu, a concept album created with a full-band approach. Marking a significant departure from her previous work, the album explores a more indie and alternative sound, featuring a song written by Shotaro Shimizu of kurayamisaka, as well as Nagase's first-ever self-written and self-composed track. Its diverse creative approach attracted attention from music media and listeners alike. Alongside the album release, Nagase embarked on Yuka Nagase LIVE TOUR 2025 "Mofu Mohu Tour," performing at live houses across four cities - Tokyo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Sendai - with enthusiastic audiences at each stop. With YouTube and Spotify serving as key platforms for her work, Nagase continues to build her artistic practice through music releases and live performance videos. Her distinctive approach has earned recognition among culturally engaged music listeners in their twenties, as well as artists and professionals across and beyond the music industry.
