• DJIWATAKU

  DJ IWATAKU - Takuya Iwata is a DJ, music creator, and producer from Gifu, Japan, based in Nagoya. Known for his skillful open-format DJ style, he seamlessly blends TOP40, hip-hop, reggae, R&B, K-pop, Latin, EDM, and more. With energetic mixing and microphone performance, he creates a unique sound and atmosphere that moves the entire dance floor. In addition to DJing, he is also active in music production and artist direction, having released EPs under his own name as well as collaborative works. He has also toured with the Gifu-born reggae duo MEGARYU, performing at venues across Japan. Beyond music, DJ IWATAKU works across visual production, design, projection mapping, and entertainment event production. He has served as overall director, stage director, and total design producer for major youth-oriented events in Nagoya, expanding his creative work beyond music into a wide range of entertainment fields.
