Artist Profile

In 2019, Buntaro Natsukawa launched the "Return of Pinkrobot project", a concept album that will be a follow-up to "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" by Flaming lips. It is accompanied with a novel, video, illustrations, and other artwork. Soon after Buntaro started to compose songs with Shinya Fukuda (Gt.) and Norio Sanzenzuri (Ba.), Tatsuro Nakano (Dr.) & Kaori Fukuhara (Key) joined the project. There were several other member changes, Kazuyuki Jibu (Sax) and Junichi Mogi (video production) officially joined the band in 2021. They spent an incredible amount of time, searching for creative new ideas. After an accident in which Shinya Fukuda escaped for a period of time, the group met its fate by meeting Karin Yoshikawa (Vo.) in 2022. Her addition made the artworks even more unique, and finally the entire production was completed in the spring of 2023. They are now ready to make a full-fledged breakthrough into the music scene.
