This time, I wrote a song called "Don't Be Afraid to Shine." I feel like a lot of recent songs avoid using straightforward words to encourage support or deliver a message to someone, and instead use indirect language to elicit empathy. Especially now, I wanted to write lyrics that would reach people who are working hard in a straightforward and simple way, so I wrote this song. As usual, I recorded the song with just a single microphone on my desk, singing with my guitar in hand. It took a while to settle on the lyrics, but I'm relieved that it finally took shape. This time, I tried applying some mastering effects to the recording. I don't have much knowledge yet, but I think I was able to slightly increase the breadth and impact of the sound. In the future, I'd like to write songs with straightforward messages, but for now, as my first step, I put a feeling of encouragement into this song, encouraging myself to do my best. I believe I still have a lot of potential, so I would be very happy if I could grow along with this song. Please give it a listen. Thank you.
