Formed in 2020, JADE FOREST COMPANY is a six-member visual kei heavy metal band that blends male and female members into a genre-defying force. On August 13, 2025, they will release their second EP, DEPARTURE -- an ambitious follow-up to their full-length debut Konko (Soul Light).

With violin and accordion as central instruments, JADE FOREST COMPANY's sound sets them apart from conventional metal acts. The band's signature style fuses the weight and aggression of metal with the elegance of classical melodies, creating a soundscape that feels both fantastical and epic. Once again, the concept revolves around the"Tale of the Hero of Light" -- an original fantasy narrative told through music. While it may sound cryptic to first-time listeners ("Hero of Light?"), the band proudly aligns itself with epic metal-- a subgenre known for its dramatic compositions, fantasy themes, and grand storytelling.

One of JADE FOREST COMPANY's most unique qualities lies in their choice to replace typical guitar leads with accordion and violin lines.
