• Yoshitate Kyounosuke

  Born in Yokohama and raised in Machida, Tokyo. Born on June 17. A one-of-a-kind artist whose voice and presence are distinctly Japanese, yet transcend national boundaries. His existence stands between worlds, carrying both tradition and modernity within a single expression. Openly identifying as transgender, he continues to live on the boundary lines, consistently honoring diversity. This way of being - existing between definitions - has inspired and empowered many. His released videos have surpassed 100 million total views. Both his artistry and his philosophy have earned recognition in Japan and abroad. In addition to producing and headlining his own live concerts and appearing at events across the country, he creates music inspired by Japanese history, samurai culture, and traditional aesthetics, presenting them through a contemporary lens. He is also active as a voice actor. Notably, he provides the voice for the VOCALOID and Synthesizer V AI character Nekomura Iroha, developed by AHS in collaboration with Sanrio, the company globally recognized for Hello Kitty. His albums Byaku Ren Shou and Gin Sou Ha each reached No.1 on the iTunes Music Top Album charts in Finland, Canada, and Malaysia. More recently, they have ranked on the Apple Music J-Pop Top Album charts in Hong Kong and Ukraine, further expanding his global presence. His works are distributed worldwide via YouTube, iTunes, LINE Music, and other major platforms. In his private time, he enjoys walking his beloved dog Goroha, anime, video games, Mini 4WD racing, Gunpla model building, and sake. Currently studying English and Cantonese.
