The Wind Phone is a disconnected telephone booth in Otsuchi, Iwate Prefecture, Japan.
It is a place where people can speak to someone precious they can no longer see, sending the words and feelings left in their hearts on the wind.
It is said that many people have found a little peace simply by picking up the receiver and speaking to someone they miss.
I hope my music can be something like that, too.
I hope its melodies and words can gently reach the deepest places in our hearts the places we usually keep quietly closed and perhaps bring tears to our eyes.
Tears of sadness,
tears of remembrance,
or even tears of warmth.
Because somehow,
after we cry,
I feel our hearts become
just a little softer.
