I can't touch your hair

Catchphrase:
An exquisite groove masking an unspoken secret. yaoye delivers a sophisticated anthem about the things we see but absolutely cannot touch.

Description:
"Can't Touch Your Hair" by yaoye effortlessly blends J-Pop, Alternative, and R&B/Soul with a distinct, infectious funk flavor.
Behind its chill, evocative soundscape and smooth guitar-vocal delivery lies a cleverly disguised narrative. While it initially sounds like a song about romantic yearning and emotional distance, the lyrics actually capture the awkward, comical tension of a very specific everyday situation: noticing a delicate "elephant in the room" about someone's appearance and trying desperately to act normal without pointing it out.
It is a track about the unspoken boundaries we navigate daily, wrapping a relatable, slightly clumsy human experience in a stylish, undeniably cool musical package.
